What our Guests say on Google…
September 2024: “On arrival, perfect, peaceful, felt like home. The lodge gave us a wonderful, restful week. The owners were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We came for peace and we got it! Rabbits to watch, birds feeding, a pleasure to watch. Birds soon scoffed the lot, we bought more for them and refilled. It has been a lovely week away from our lovely York. Thank you Simon & Carolyn and for the welcome basket, we appreciated it. We want to return!
May 2024: “This is a truly relaxing destination if you like wildlife and walking . The lodge is superbly equipped with everything to make your stay as easy and relaxing as you could wish for. Spotlessly clean warm. I can recommend visiting the red kite feeding station at Rhyader at feeding time (3PM) for a spectacular display of frenzied feeding by these impressive birds. Also visit The Elan Valley dams in Rhyader. Will definitely stay here again”
September 2023: “The lodge is brand new and has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable and the setting is so peaceful. The owners have thought of everything you could need for a stay and I recommend anyone thinking of booking to do it.
The local town of Builth Wells is only a few minutes drive away and the scenery around the wider area is beautiful.
We would happily return again knowing now just how good this lodge is. The owners were so helpful and I'm just pleased we found it when looking for a last minute get away.”
